According to him, the images from the weekend show that the hand of the state is trembling and that a feeling of impunity is reaching incredible proportions in the face of experienced offenders.
Othman Nasrou, secretary general of the Republicans, estimated that a state of emergency should have been declared while the violence and looting continued, particularly in the capital.
He stressed that this measure would have made it possible to provide additional resources to the police, and in particular legal means, in order to put the thugs and ultra-left movements out of harm's way.
The secretary general added that his party is making extremely firm proposals, believing that state authority has declined significantly in the country.
