Calls for the resignation of Interior Minister Laurent Nuñez are increasing on Sunday October 18, the day after the scenes of violence which punctuated the mobilization of October 17.
“Laurent Nuñez is clearly overwhelmed by the situation, the scale of which he clearly underestimated,” the presidential candidate judged on.
"We saw that Mr. Nuñez was completely overwhelmed. I don't even know how this morning, while shaving in front of his mirror, he couldn't think for a second about resigning because he is completely incompetent to manage the chaos,"added the spokesperson for the National Rally, Laurent Jacobelli, on Sunday.
Lamia El Aaraje, first deputy mayor of Paris, also spoke about the violence of October 17.
