Investments in huge data warehouses are still struggling to have a significant effect on growth in France.
At this stage, France is still far from competing with the United States or certain Asian economies. The amounts are lower than those observed across the Atlantic, according to the first available data, which places the country in fourth place in Europe behind the United Kingdom, Germany and the Netherlands.
Other projects are still to come, according to the investments announced during previous Choose France summits. At the forefront of these is SoftBank, which has notably promised 45 billion euros for the construction of three data centers in Hauts-de-France by 2031.
