Invited Thursday on France Inter, the French Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jean-Noël Barrot, urged not to be contaminated by Vladimir Putin's propaganda.
He recalled that it had been “twenty times since the start of the war” that the fall of Ukraine or its abandonment by the United States had been announced.
The minister also underlined that"two thirds of the intelligence which is provided to Ukraine is provided today by Europeans and particularly by France".
Believing that we are waging"a war on the battlefield but also in people's minds", Jean-Noël Barrot accused the Kremlin and its trolls on social networks of seeking to discourage Ukrainians and Europeans.
