During a debate, MP François Piquemal spoke about the situation in the face of violence and demonstrations, believing that measures such as curfews, the ban on social networks or the state of emergency do not constitute lasting solutions.
François Piquemal declared: “You can make curfews, you can ban social networks, as I heard, create a state of emergency, but these are not solutions to the political crisis and the reasons for this political crisis.».
He also underlined that"a certain number of thugs are taking advantage of the opportunity of the demonstrations and the fiasco of the doctrine of maintaining order", while adding that he does not see the connection with the political response to the thugs.
For his part, Jean-Charles Orsucci indicated that there were no demonstrations except in Bastia and Ajaccio, specifying that they went more or less correctly.
