Three teenagers are accused of having managed the Reacher/Stryxx platform, an illicit search engine, or “lookup”, which provided personal data of French people stolen during cyberattacks. The Anti-Cybercrime Office (Ofac) announced the dismantling of this platform following an investigation opened on May 15, 2026 after a report from the e-Enfance association.

The creation, administration and use of these platforms, which have multiplied in recent months on consumer applications such as Discord or Telegram, are illegal within the European Union when they contain data obtained illicitly. This private information can be used for a variety of illicit uses, from intimidation to identity theft and targeted burglary.

Furthermore, the Macronist deputy for Côtes-d'Armor, Eric Bothorel, announced on X that he had reported two new"lookups"to the courts on Monday October 12.
