Around twenty people, including teenagers, were injured on Monday October 12 in an explosion in northern Israel, near the border with Lebanon, according to rescuers and local police.
A group of students and teachers from a religious high school, who were hiking near Neot-Mordechai, were caught in the explosion of an unexploded ordnance lying on their route.
A high school student died during this incident, then clarified the Israeli Minister of Defense, Israel Katz, who indicated on X that the facts were the subject of an investigation.
