The government has little hope of having its budget voted on in standard conditions in the National Assembly, whether the debates are long or interrupted from the first day.
The examination of this draft annual budget, the last of Emmanuel Macron's presidency, begins Tuesday evening with the revenue section which mainly determines tax revenues.
The oppositions greeted the government copy with cannon fire, including the Socialist Party which agreed to let the budget pass last year.
A motion to reject the draft budget will be defended on Tuesday, presumably in the evening as soon as the debates begin. La France insoumise, which had also submitted one, will vote for it just like deputies from the communist and overseas group.
The National Rally group will also be scrutinized: if it votes against, the motion will undoubtedly be rejected and the examination will begin normally.
