Previously, on October 24, the authorities counted 410,000 demonstrators in France, including 110,000 in the capital, while the unions counted 800,000 people mobilized, as on October 17. Tuesday, November 3 should be a black day for universities, where Unef calls for blocking colleges and high schools throughout France.
Before the Parisian procession began, shortly before 2 p.m., the High School Union and the Student Union called for high schools and universities to be blocked next Tuesday and Thursday.
This estimate comes as new actions and days of mobilization are planned by union and student organizations for the coming days.
