Rémi Aubert, 39, has filed a complaint for willful violence with weapons in a group causing more than eight days of ITT by a person holding public authority.

The events took place on the sidelines of a demonstration against the high cost of living. The judicial investigation now aims to establish the circumstances of the blows and the identity of the alleged perpetrators.

It has been entrusted to the General Inspectorate of the National Police (IGPN).

He denies having taken part in the violence that broke out at the end of the procession.

He claims he was struck by several police officers who were charging protesters, on the sidelines of the October 31 mobilization against the high cost of living, in the Bouches-du-Rhône.

According to his account, after the end of the procession, he went to Cours Julien to drink and eat. Around 8 p.m. or 8:30 p.m., as he was heading toward his bicycle to go home, he found himself in a street where a major CRS charge was taking place.
