In Lyon, some 10,000 people gathered, despite the ban on demonstrations, in several wild processions, dispersed with tear gas. At the end of the afternoon, a group of around 400 people blocked the A72 motorway at the La Terrasse interchange, in both directions of traffic.
Many rallies and parades took place on Saturday, a week after the first day of mobilization against the high cost of living.

In the morning, 2,000 people demonstrated and some tensions arose with tear gas being fired to disperse the banned demonstration, according to ICI La Rochelle.
“Nearly 800,000 people” demonstrated in France, including 250,000 in Paris, according to the CGT.
In the afternoon, around 5,000 people marched, the procession split in two and the police used tear gas, according to ICI Tourraine.
