Estac has announced that it is parting ways with its sports director, targeted by accusations of sexist behavior.
This decision comes after the publication of an article by the local daily L'Est Éclair, revealing the opening of a legal investigation by the Troyes public prosecutor's office targeting the 54-year-old former footballer. An internal investigation is also being carried out by the City Football Group, the holding company that owns 12 clubs including Manchester City and Troyes.
Several employees of the club have made reports accusing him of inappropriate gestures and sexist remarks, according to L'Est Éclair. Despite the internal investigation, he still appeared at the edge of the pitch before the meeting between Estac and Olympique de Marseille on Sunday.
