The Toulouse administrative court rejected the appeal filed by François Piquemal (LFI) against the election of Jean-Luc Moudenc during the last municipal elections in Toulouse in March 2026, according to information learned on Wednesday October 14 from ICI Occitanie.
The rebellious MP demanded the annulment of the result of the second round, citing foreign digital interference noted during the vote.
In its judgment, the court does not dispute the conclusions of the report and indicates that the attacks against François Piquemal were of an exceptionally violent nature.
However, the court specifies that it has not been established that these publications were distributed massively and emphasizes that François Piquemal did not provide the evidence required to prove the real impact of these interferences on the vote.
François Piquemal has the possibility of appealing.
