Rockstar has released a new launch trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI, revealing more details about what is set to be the biggest game of the year according to the BBC. The trailer also featured a new song from French electronic music artists Justice, who were revealed as the game's original score composers.
The action adventure game became available to pre-order at midnight on 25 June in the UK and elsewhere around the world, following the mid-June reveal of the pre-sales launch date and cover art. The title has previously been delayed twice, moving from autumn 2025 and May 2026.
In the UK, the game will cost £69.99, while the US price is set at $79.99. An ultimate edition featuring extra vehicles and weapons will cost £89.99 in the UK and $99.99 in the US. Analysts believe the title could become the most expensive game ever made, with external estimates putting development costs at more than $1bn (£866m).
