In Paris, the day of October 17 was marked by violent clashes, looting and scenes of riots on the sidelines of the parades which brought together between 550,000 and 800,000 demonstrators throughout France.
Dozens of shops, particularly in the capital, have suffered this damage, causing major difficulties for traders who are already struggling to make ends meet.
Faced with the extent of the damage, Facap denounces a dramatic situation and requests financial support from the government.
