School principals were targeted Tuesday by fireworks mortar fire at two high schools in Essonne, on the sidelines of the high school student mobilization.
The incidents occurred in Corbeil-Essonnes and Quincy-sous-Sénart. They led to safety measures and, in one of the schools, medical care for the principal.
Both sites thus experienced, on the same day, fireworks mortar fire targeting or hitting the immediate surroundings of the management teams, in the context of the high school student mobilization.
At the high school in Quincy-sous-Sénart, shots were also fired inside the premises, triggering a lockdown plan.
The education authority describes a short sequence in Corbeil-Essonnes, between the explosion, the nurse's intervention and the lifting of the lockdown in conjunction with law enforcement.
A school principal therefore had to be treated by the school nurse on site.
