The world's biggest accountancy firm helped falsify documents to hide Roman Abramovich's wealth and evade tax, according to a BBC Panorama investigation.
Deloitte appears to have advised on a scheme to evade a huge tax bill on the oligarch's wealth through the falsification of documents, while backdated paperwork also made his yachts and mansions disappear from accounts.
The findings are based on a leak containing thousands of documents about Abramovich's finances and the operations of an offshore company network administered from Cyprus between 1995 and 2022.
Abramovich was previously reported to be living in Turkey, which served as a safe haven because it did not apply sanctions.
