On Wednesday, the Parisians shone during a first period which took the form of a football lesson, after kicking off their evening by punishing a strong moment which the Cityzens did not take advantage of.
While they set out to correct the Cityzens, who barely had time to engage before the ball found itself in the Italian goalkeeper's net again, the Parisians had an extremely difficult last forty-five minutes and found themselves on the ropes.
Nevertheless, Wednesday evening's performance will remain largely satisfactory for the double European champions, reminding us that a Champions League match is never over at half-time.
