The vice-president of the National Rally Sébastien Chenu castigated Volodymyr Zelensky's condescension on Friday. The day before, the Ukrainian president had affirmed that Marine Le Pen did not have a good handle on certain details when she announced that she wanted to cut France's financial aid to Ukraine six months after her election.

Invited on LCI, the Northern MP estimated that Volodymyr Zelensky should not show this condescension, especially since Marine Le Pen does not consider him a traitor. He recalled that the candidate had promised to maintain training, humanitarian aid and material aid for six months.

Volodymyr Zelensky and Marine Le Pen spoke via media on Thursday. The Ukrainian president estimated that France can only gain from this cooperation, particularly in terms of weapons technologies, pleading that Ukraine gives in return.

Sébastien Chenu also added by mentioning a possible bond crisis in a few months or weeks, estimating that the question of aid to Ukraine will then no longer arise and that it is time to straighten out the country's public finances.
