A short video circulating on r/nextfuckinglevel under the heading “A cat was caught on camera giving a massage to its friend in Istanbul” is drawing a fast audience online.
The clip is built for speed: a clear moment, little setup, and a payoff that lands in seconds — the pattern that usually turns a post into a share.
There is little accompanying text. As often with viral video, the title points and the footage carries the argument.
Within roughly 7.9 hours it had drawn about 2060 upvotes and 30 comments — early numbers that mark a live surge rather than a slow burn.
On platforms such as r/nextfuckinglevel, that mix of clarity and surprise is what moves material across communities that do not normally share the same feeds. Comment threads tend to argue over what people think they saw, not over a press release.
For now, the clip remains the document: what happens on screen is what is driving the traffic, and the conversation is still forming around it.
